Did you ever find out what he was getting at?
I have NO idea. We looked up Leonardo on Wikipedia and couldn't find an apprentice or associate who would have fitted the persona he was thinking of.
I think the point was supposed to be that the recipe was a genius idea that he needed my help to bring out of the territory of being pure theory and into practical construction.
As I pointed out, comparing your helper to the leader of the slave rebellion gives the wrong impression on a whole other level than just mistaking the name you meant...
